To keep your air conditioner in peak efficiency, change out your ac filter every 3 months. If you wait to long to change your air filter, the efficiency of the equipment will deteriorate and the cost of operating your system can increase. While 3 months is a good rule of thumb to go by, it can depend on the type of filter. For example, if you use a very efficient air filter then it might need to be changed every month. If your filter is inefficient then you can replace it every 6 months.
Some things to consider about your air filter. If you suffer from allergies, then a more efficient filter is a better choice. Filters with high MERV ratings or high efficiency ratings will remove more household allergens from the air.
At Promag Energy Group, we recommend the following guidelines for changing your filter every 1-2 months if:
You have one or more household pets.
You have heavy to moderate dust
If your AC unit is sometimes to mostly on
If you heavy or multiple in home smokers
If you often keep doors or windows open

Don’t be caught with no power when the next hurricane comes through Orlando. If you were in Orlando during the 2004 hurricane season, you know the agony that comes along with no lights, no television, and worst of all, no air conditioning. Most of us can survive with out televisions and lights, but when your sitting in your house with no air conditioning and it’s 95 degrees outside, people start to go a bit crazy.
If you are like myself, after Hurricane Charley came through Orlando you darted out to the nearest store to purchase a portable generator just before Hurricane Frances made it’s way through town. For many of us that portable generator was a life saver. All you had to do was purchase a small window air conditioner, pack all 7 of your family members in one 13 X 15 living room, just to get out of the ridiculous heat & humidity. Oh! And don’t forget about the unrelenting rattling noise that echoed through your still house each night before you went to bed.
Ah….memories. Wouldn’t it be so much nicer for you to be able to handle Hurricane season with out the pain, hassle, and noise of a portable generator. What about a home generator that has the capability to run your air conditioner, refrigerators, lights, hot water, and television? Promag Energy Group offers Bryant Air-Cooled Home Generators for your Orlando home. If you are ever caught in the midst of a hurricane again, with no power and worst, with no AC, don’t worry. This 17Kw of backup power is enough to run several appliances during an emergency. This home generator is powered by natural gas or propane and automatically turns on when it senses an outage. No more worrying about having to go crank up the portable generator. Keep the air conditioning running in your Orlando home.
Get a Bryant Air-Cooled Home Generator from Promag Energy Group, and worry about what matters most during a hurricane – your family.

Do you find that you have problems breathing while in your home? Do you have many allergies, and get stuffed up while at home? Maybe it is time to get your ducts cleaned.
Duct cleaning is the removal of dirt, dust and other microbial particles that cause obstruction and unwanted smells that get stuck to the side of the duct & air handler units. To promote a healthy and safe environment it is important that these particles are destroyed and removed from the systems.
You should consider having your Orlando air ducts cleaned if: there is visible mold growth inside surface ducts, or other components of your ac system. If your ac ducts are infested with rodents or insects, or if your ducts are clogged with an excessive amount of dust or debris.
